Crystal Bridges announces Winter Lights & Market
Outdoor lights experience takes place in the new Ozark Discovery Canopy, brings in rotating vendors and special food offerings

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — On November 19, Crystal Bridges will open Winter Lights taking place in the new Ozark Discovery Canopy. The new outdoor experience will start with a Winter Market in the Campus Parking Plaza filled with various rotating vendors that sell handcrafted goods, jewelry, holiday items, custom accessories and more. Families and guests can purchase food items from the Winter Market menu, then go down into the Ozark Discovery Canopy and experience an immersive cosmic light installation.
The Winter Lights experience transforms the Ozark Discovery Canopy with immersive light and sound elements that bring the space to life after dark. Inspired by the region's natural surroundings, the experience celebrates the beauty of the Ozarks in winter while highlighting the museum's trails, grounds and surrounding environment. The installation also reflects the Ozark Discovery Canopy's unique blend of art, nature and STEM-based learning, inviting guests to experience the space in a new way.
In addition to the immersive light displays and market, guests can enjoy a variety of holiday-inspired food and beverage offerings available for purchase. Featuring festive flavors and seasonal favorites, the culinary experience is designed to complement the warmth and wonder of Winter Lights & Market, creating a memorable evening of holiday traditions, family fun and celebration.
"Winter Lights & Market is about creating a place where people can come together and celebrate the season," said Director of Business Operations Stuart Longwell. "The Market aspect of Winter Lights & Market provides an opportunity for families and visitors to gather together, enjoy festive food and drinks and experience local, unique vendors from the community."
Winter Lights & Market will take place on the Crystal Bridges Campus from November 19, 2026, through January 2, 2027.
