Adam Faucett and the Spectral Class
Hailing from Little Rock and called “one of the greatest, most thoughtful lyricists the state has to offer” (Arkansas Times), Adam Faucett has drawn comparisons from Tim Buckley to Cat Power to Otis Redding. His “part folk, part blues, part elemental rock stomp, part unidentifiable cosmic holler” (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette) has been thrilling audiences since 2006 and led to national tours with Jason Isbell, Damien Jurado, and Lucero. His latest album, It Took the Shape of a Bird, was named to Pop Matters‘ “Top 20 Americana Albums of 2018.” Together with his band, The Spectral Class, come enjoy the sounds of Adam Faucett’s homegrown Arkansan folk music and hear what all the hype is about.
“Nothing can prepare you for the sound that comes out of his mouth when he sings—or bellows—his stellar songwriting. It is a soulful power beyond belief.” –Paste Magazine
Kalyn Fay
Oklahoma-bred songwriter Kalyn Fay has a voice that commands rapt attention, whether filling a theater or piercing the din of a dive bar. It’s a tenor timbre a first-time listener once aptly described as “butterscotch,” all rich and velveteen, bold, singular. When Fay sings, you’ll hear her confessions and acceptance, vulnerability, hard-fought lessons, and measured determination. The narrative, the life lived, is hers; the warmth of her voice entrusts her story to those who will listen.
