Alice Walton Receives Honorary Degree from the University of Arkansas

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

Alice Walton, founder and board chair of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, receives an honorary Doctor of Arts and Humane Letters from the University of Arkansas during the spring All-University commencement ceremony Saturday, May 12. President of the University of Arkansas System Don Bobbitt, chairman of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees Mike Akin, and university Chancellor G. David Gearhart confer the degree.
