Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

In this virtual workshop, we will be stepping into our backyard gardens to take a closer look at several pollinators and their friends: the butterflies and the bees. During this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, you will learn watercolor techniques for painting a variety of botanical forms, as well as how to incorporate markers to achieve detailed, dynamic effects. Instructor Leana Fischer will also share a brief tour of her studio space and discuss her creative process.

No prior painting experience is necessary to participate.
