From meteorites and mammoths to early flutes and first computers, the University of Arkansas Museum houses a wide array of materials from across space and time. The Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing natural history and culture throughout U of A campuses and the state of Arkansas with active research, education, and outreach. K-12 and university classes may request to visit the University Collections Facility and study the collections. Specimens and their associated documentation are available for comparative and research purposes by faculty, students, and visiting scholars. We also fulfill our public service and outreach mission through collection tours and community programs, as well as loans to other institutions for exhibitions.
