About the Instructor

Tricia Upshaw has s passion for the floral industry truly took root when she was just 16 years old. It all began with her very first job as a delivery driver at a local florist. Although her initial role was to transport beautiful arrangements to customers, she quickly found herself captivated by the artistry and creativity that surrounded her. Every day, she would witness the magical transformation of simple blooms into breathtaking works of art—each design telling its own unique story.

Tricia became an Arkansas Master Florist in 2008 and was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design in 2016. She became an AIFD certified floral evaluator/judge in 2018. She has a passion for education and believes it is the most important part of the floral industry.
