In 2026, the United States will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. America 250: Common Threads will both commemorate the events of 1776 and reflect on 250 years of American art and civic participation.

On June 6 & 7, Crystal Bridges opens 114,000 square feet of new galleries, studios, and spaces filled with extraordinary art and fresh storytelling. Expect a brand-new contemporary gallery, a second, expanded temporary exhibition gallery, studio spaces with exciting artmaking opportunities, and an elevated café overlooking a family-friendly splashpad and even more outdoor art.
