Discover how artists build creative careers through the work of Lucy Sparrow and Chuck Ramirez. Students explore pathways in craft arts, photography, graphic design, creative marketing, branding, and new media while examining how artistic vision, collaboration, and innovation translate into careers across the creative industries. Through these artists' work, students gain insight into the diverse skills and opportunities that power today's creative economy.

Grandma Moses: A Good Day's Work (K-5th Grade)

What stories can be found in everyday life? In Grandma Moses: A Good Day's Work, students discover how ordinary moments can become extraordinary through art. As they explore Grandma Moses's paintings, students build observation, storytelling, and visual literacy skills by identifying characters, settings, and events within each scene. Inspired by Grandma Moses's lifelong creative practice, students discover that meaningful art isn't about perfection. Through close looking and reflection, they explore how noticing the world around them and recording everyday experiences can support creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love of making.
