Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art features some of the most unique and elegant event venues in the region, offering wedding and reception packages for all sizes of events. Your guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Crystal Bridges’ ponds and landscapes from the glass-enclosed Great Hall or the Eleven restaurant bridge, dance the night away on the spacious outdoor Walker Landing, or celebrate alongside the Art Trail on the Museum’s South Lawn, surrounded by native Ozark forest. Your guests also have the unique opportunity to experience the Museum’s breathtaking collection of American Art.

Indoor Spaces
Crystal Bridges’ indoor venues provide a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding, reception, or event. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the Great Hall and Eleven restaurant offer panoramic views of the Museum’s beautiful ponds, while the high arched ceilings lend an air of spaciousness and elegance.

Great Hall
The Great Hall is a dramatic and elegant venue featuring soaring pine-beamed ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of Crystal Bridges upper pond. The Great Hall features its own kitchen facilities and may be rented in conjunction with the south lobby, or alone. The south lobby is not available for rental during Museum public hours.

Landing Suites
The Museum offers three Landing Suites that make excellent meeting and reception spaces for smaller groups. The Landing Suites are located on the lower level of the Museum, and open onto Walker Landing. These spaces may be rented separately or together. The Bellows and Cassatt rooms can be combined to make one larger room.

Seminar Room
The Museum’s Seminar Room is a private, glass-walled room located off the corridor that leads from the main lobby to the Temporary Exhibitions Gallery and Great Hall.

Board Room
Located in the Crystal Bridges Library, the Board Room features beautiful views of the Museum’s upper pond and surrounding forest. The room is equipped with a drop-down screen and input for your laptop. A private restroom is adjacent.

Outdoor Spaces
The landscape at Crystal Bridges provides unique opportunities for outdoor weddings, receptions, or corporate events. On the Museum’s beautifully manicured South Lawn, your guests can mingle alongside the stream that feeds into Crystal Bridges’ ponds and enjoy iconic outdoor sculptures such as Robert Indiana’s LOVE. Walker Landing, the patio at the heart of the museum complex, provides a wide open space along the lower pond, complete with a water-side amphitheatre. More intimate events can be held on the secluded East Terrace with its lush hillside landscape, or in one of two rustic shelters on the Museum’s trails, surrounded by Ozark forest.

Walker Landing
This paved venue overlooks the Museum’s lower pond and features a circular waterfront amphitheater. Walker Landing can be rented alone, or combined with the use of up to three adjacent Function Rooms.

The South Lawn
Located at the south entrance to Crystal Bridges, the South Lawn is a grassy area adjacent to Crystal Spring, and features Robert Indiana’s iconic Love sculpture. Tents can be erected to provide shade or weather coverage. The South Lawn may be rented as a stand-alone venue, or combined with rental of the Great Hall or Twin Bridges area.

The Twin Bridges

East Terrace
Just up a flight of steps from Walker Landing is the lovely, secluded East Terrace. This intimate, terraced space has the feel of a hidden garden and features the graceful Celeste Roberge sculpture, Chaise Gabion and a view of the monolithic Already Set in Motion by Robyn Horn.

Tulip Tree Shelter
The Tulip Tree Shelter was originally a 1:3 scale model of Crystal Bridges’ roof structure that was built to test the design prior to construction of the Museum. It is located just off the Tulip Tree Trail.

Built of native stone and wood, the Rock Ledge Shelter is located north east of the Museum, near the Rock Ledge trailhead. *Currently: limited access; some portions of trail closed for improvements.

Trail Weddings
Small weddings are permitted on Crystal Bridges’ trails and grounds, subject to approval and contract by the Crystal Bridges Special Events office. These permits are for brief (under 30 minutes) ceremonies with no more than 10 people. Use of our trail shelters or other facilities is not included. Larger parties, or those wishing to use the Tulip Tree or Rock Ledge Trail Shelters, should contact the Special Events office to reserve facility space. There is a $50 fee for the permit, which should be requested at least 72 hours prior to the event.

The Frank Lloyd Wright House Lawn
The long swath of green lawn makes an excellent setting for an intimate gathering. Set off from the South Lawn by a line of trees and native plantings, and flanked on one side by a stacked-stone wall and the Ozark forest, this space has a private feel and of course, features Frank Lloyd Wright’s beautiful Bachman-Wilson House as its central focal point. Please note: the Bachman-Wilson House is not available for rental, and is not opened for private events.
