American photographer David Levinthal has been photographing small toys and collectibles in lifelike portrayals for the past five decades. In David Levinthal: Barbie and Baseball, a free, focus exhibition at Crystal Bridges, large photographs of immaculately styled Barbie dolls and plastic baseball figurines are posed in a way that makes them look real. These photographs, recently gifted to Crystal Bridges, will be on display for the first time. Experience nostalgia seen through the lens of American contemporary photography with David Levinthal: Barbie and Baseball.
