Community Centered Museum

Key components of a community centered museum:

  • Inviting diverse, local voices to inform, consult, and collaborate in exhibitions and programs.
  • Community circle discussions: Art inspires stories and can help make meaning around relevant, timely issues affecting our local community. Community circle discussions feature  multiple perspectives and unique stories co-led by local artists, leaders, organizations and experts in our region. Circles can be held at the museum or around Northwest Arkansas.
  • Welcoming communities Through partnerships, the museum provides access and support for multilingual and organized groups to experience and utilize the resources of the museum. Learn more about our multilingual offerings.
