Kids’ Art Class: Afterschool Art (ages 5 - 7)

Looking for a fun, affordable, and educational afterschool activity? Why not try the art studio?

Designed for ages five through seven, this program is a great way to add more art to your kids’ routines and get them involved in something inspirational. We’ll spend time in the galleries learning about art, then head into the studio to flex those creative muscles and create something inspired by the collection. (Don’t worry—we’ll take care of the clean-up!)

This month, we’re getting inspired by our new temporary exhibition Fashioning America: Grit to Glamour! We’ll dive into the world of fashion, create art projects inspired by the exhibition, and learn how American fashion has shaped culture around the world.

With the confidence, new perspectives, and skills that come from creative fun, your little artists will have a firm foundation that they can build on for years to come. And, with new classes and activities announced every month at the museum, they’re sure to have a blast every time.
