Looking for a new afterschool stop? Why not try the art studio?
Designed for ages five through seven, this program is a great way to add more art to your kids’ routines and get them involved in something fun, educational, and creative. We’ll spend time in the galleries learning about some of the artworks in our temporary exhibition Selena Forever/Selena Siempre, then head into the studio to flex those creative muscles and create something inspired by the collection. (Don’t worry—we’ll take care of the clean-up!)
This month, we’re exploring the arts of fashion with fit, color, and pattern design! Whether the day’s project is designing outfits for mini mannequins, exploring color by dyeing fabric, creating print patterns, or even just hanging out with a new friend, your little artists are sure to find something to love here at the museum. And with five miles of trails, expansive galleries, restaurant Eleven, and the nearby coffee bar, you just might too.
