Teens being taught art in a classroom

We all know that expressing yourself is part of living your best life—so help your tween (aged 11–13) live theirs with an afternoon of artmaking!

Inspired by works in the museum’s collection, we’ll dive into an artmaking project that’ll stretch imaginations and flex those creative muscles. This month, we’re transforming wool into functional fabric with a process called wet felting! You’ll learn how to transform yarn and fibers into a custom fabric perfect for anything you want to make: scarves, bags, hats, and more.

No experience? No problem! We’ll be right there every step of the way to help them pull together ideas and make something ready to take home or share online. And, with five miles of trails, expansive galleries, restaurant  Eleven, and the nearby coffee bar, there’s plenty for the grown-ups to enjoy, too.

So whether you’re looking for a safe, fun way to have time with friends or add in some much-needed self-care for your kids, drop on by. There’s always room for one more on the studio squad.

Free, tickets required. Reserve your spot online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335 today.
