We will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.
Let’s face it—adding art to your kids’ lives can be a lot of work. So why not let us take a turn?
Designed for ages eight through ten, this program is a great way to supplement a home art curriculum without all the stress of wrangling supplies and project lists. We’ll spend time in the galleries learning about some of the artworks in our temporary exhibition Selena Forever/Selena Siempre, then head into the studio to flex those creative muscles and create something inspired by the collection. (Don’t worry—we’ll take care of the clean-up!)
This month, we’re exploring the arts of fashion with fit, color, and pattern design! Whether the day’s project is designing outfits for mini mannequins, exploring color by dyeing fabric, creating print patterns, or even just hanging out with a new friend, your little artists are sure to find something to love here at the museum. And with five miles of trails, expansive galleries, restaurant Eleven, and the nearby coffee bar, you just might too.

Per the CDC’s updated guidelines, we are now requiring all guests ages 2 and up and staff to wear a face covering indoors and while attending outdoor programs, except while eating or drinking.
