Come explore the rare books and botanical prints featured in Timeless Treasures: Native Plants of Arkansas. Jennifer Ogle, collections manager at the University of Arkansas Herbarium, Samantha Best, outdoor interpretation specialist, and Kariah Brust, reference assistant, will be your guides to the ways artists and botanists have recorded their experiences of nature while preserving it for future generations.
A part of Nature Weekends at Crystal Bridges, you’ll get an inside look at the museum’s rare book collection, the university herbarium, and the importance of native plants to the worlds of art and science. Full of new insights and unique perspectives, this is not an event to miss.
