Don’t let the end of the summer be the end of the fun. Come make a splash at our water-themed Family Day!
Drop in anytime Sunday, August 22, from 12 to 5 p.m. and enjoy an afternoon of creative fun for the whole family at this free, outdoor program. A part of Nature Weekends at Crystal Bridges, Family Day brings together artmaking, music, storytelling, and even a little bit of learning to make your visit to the museum something special.
Listen to live music from Melody Pond and Still on the Hill as you get creative with watercolor, boat building, and more at our artmaking stations across the grounds. Learn about the conservation of Arkansas’s waterways from our Nature Partners, and explore some of the ponds, weirs, and streams that make Arkansas the Natural State.
Of course, we all know August gets hot—so why not beat the heat with a ice-cold Coke float from our culinary station? We’ll have snacks and sweets for every taste on the South Lawn. And, if you need to burn off a little energy afterwards, you won’t want to skip the water-themed Nature Sensory Obstacle Course with ReWild the Child.
