Set during the opening of The Portal: An Art Experience by Jewel and featuring a variety of free and ticketed talks, workshops, culinary experiences, and family-friendly engagements by community partners and leaders in the fields of art and wellness, the festival showcases the profound connections between creative expression and personal health.

We invite you to join us for the opening conversation of our Wellness Festival, featuring Chairperson of Crystal Bridges Olivia Walton in conversation with producer, filmmaker, and advocate Tonya Lewis Lee. Joined onstage for opening remarks by Grammy award-winning artist and mental health pioneer Jewel, Lee and Walton will discuss women and maternal health, with a special focus on maternal health in Arkansas.

Taking place at the Momentary, you’re invited to take a break from your usual Friday routine with a day of drop-in wellness workshops, talks by leading authors and wellness pioneers, food demos by local tastemakers, a farm-to-table lunch, and more.

Join us for the opening night of The Portal: an immersive journey at the intersection of music, wellness, technology, and art created by four-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and mental health pioneer Jewel! The Portal features one-of-a-kind, 200-piece aerial drone shows choreographed by Jewel and set to an original score by the artist, a meditative art walk featuring works by prominent contemporary artists, a never-before-seen painting and sculpture by Jewel, and chef-crafted dining options as part of a complete experience for the body, mind, and spirit.

As the culmination of the multi-day Wellness Festival, on Sunday, May 5 we’re filling the museum with wellness-focused gallery activities, presentations by our local partner organizations, and workshops designed to explore the profound connections between creative expression and personal health.

We invite you to join us for the closing conversation of the Wellness Festival, featuring Arianna Huffington, founder and CEO of Thrive Global, author, and founder of The Huffington Post; and Alice Walton, philanthropist and founder of Crystal Bridges as well as the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. Drawing from their life and work, Ms. Huffington and Ms. Walton will discuss the intersections of art, medicine, health, and wellbeing.
