Families enjoy the Plaza Splash Pad
Live music, family fun, and block party vibes—is there a better way to spend a summer afternoon?
Set under the trees at the Plaza beside our Campus Parking complex, this free concert series features local and regional artists alongside food trucks, the Plaza Cafe, family-friendly activity stations, and the Plaza’s own splash pad.
Paired with a walk on the trails or a stop at the studios for some drop-in artmaking, it’s the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon at your museum.

Easy Parking: Parking is free for all guests at our Campus Parking complex, located right beside the Plaza.
Note: There is limited clearance in the garage of 8 feet, 4 inches.
Accessibility: Strollers and personal mobility devices are welcome. The Plaza is a paved, wheelchair-accessible area, including the nearby North Forest trail. Accessible parking is available on the first floor of the garage complex.
B.Y.O.C.: Bring your own chair! Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged, though not required.
Dog-friendly Venue: Dogs on a leash are allowed. Dog owners are asked to clean up after their dogs and keep them under control at all times.
