Goodrich named Director of Security for Crystal Bridges

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art announced today that Geoff Goodrich has been selected as Director of Security. With more than 16 years of experience in security management, Goodrich joined the Museum staff Jan. 10. He will oversee all security and safety services for the Museum facilities, trails, art collection, staff and guests.

“Geoff Goodrich brings a wealth of experience to his position with Crystal Bridges,” said Rod Bigelow, director of operations and administration. “He comes from a strong background of teaching, knows how to build relationships with local government and is a well-respected professional in the museum security field.”

Goodrich has served as Dean of Security Education at North American College in Phoenix, Chief of Security and Facilities Manager for the Phoenix Art Museum, Building Facilities Superintendent for the City of Phoenix, and was a licensed private investigator in the state of Arizona.

He is a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Corps and holds certifications and credentials through numerous organizations, including the International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection, the American Hotel Motel Association and the International Association of Hospital Security.
