Crystal Bridges Names Beth Bobbitt as Media Relations Manager

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art recently selected Beth Bobbitt as the museum’s new media relations manager. In this role, Bobbitt will oversee media relations and social media as part of the communications division in the Museum Relations team.

Bobbitt comes to Crystal Bridges with 10 years of experience in communications and five years in the arts, most recently as public relations director for Walton Arts Center and the Walmart AMP.  In this role, Bobbitt directed media relations, message development, social media, and community outreach efforts helping to position Northwest Arkansas as an arts and cultural destination.

As a board member for the Northwest Arkansas Tourism Association and president of the regional Public Relations Society of America chapter, Bobbitt has been a strong advocate for the region and the profession of public relations. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas. Bobbitt also worked in corporate communications/public relations in St. Louis while earning a graduate degree in media communications before returning to Northwest Arkansas in 2009.
