Gather once a month for a shared sonic experience at the Skyspace, timed with the rhythms of nature—near the full moon, equinox, or solstice—during the Skyspace light show at sunset. As daylight fades, sound and light come together to create a moment of pause, presence, and deep listening. This month, we’re featuring Matt Martin and modCV.

About Matt Martin

Matt Martin is a multi-genre guitarist with 20 years of experience spanning everything from opening for platinum rapper DaBaby to performing immersive audio-visual productions like Light Sound Dimension at The Momentary. A fixture in the Northwest Arkansas music community, he collaborates regularly with DJs, producers, and musicians across the region and performs with several local bands. For Matt, music is fundamentally a healing force — a reminder of our shared humanity in a world that needs more connection. On May 31, he joins synthesist modCV for an evening of ambient guitar and electronic texture designed for deep listening — an invitation to slow down, breathe, and let sound bring us together.

About modCV

modCV creates immersive ambient progressions and floor shaking house rhythms through the use of live synthesizer hardware. His self-built modular system bristles with patch cables, bridging between organic analog oscillators and gritty digital wavetables. He is sonically inspired by downtempo & synthwave genres, adding his own sequenced rhythms to breathe life into his sets.
