Celebrate the opening of Grandma Moses: A Good Day’s Work with a day of artmaking, storytelling, music, and hands-on experiences inspired by one of America’s most beloved artists. Throughout the museum, visitors of all ages are invited to explore the people, places, and traditions that shaped Grandma Moses’s paintings through activities that spark creativity and connection.
Meet ponies from Equestrian Bridges, create folk art-inspired projects, gather for a live storytelling podcast recording, and step onto the Walker Landing dance floor for line dancing throughout the day. Whether you're discovering Grandma Moses’s work for the first time or revisiting a favorite artist, this museum-wide celebration offers new ways to experience the joy, ingenuity, and sense of community reflected in her art.
