The Crystal Bridges Online Teaching Scholar program, scheduled for July 18 through 22, 2016, is a competitive, all-expense-paid program for educators to learn how to teach Crystal Bridges’ online courses for high school students.
The program invites accepted applicants to attend a week-long onsite training program in Bentonville, Arkansas. Participants will learn how to build the course in their Course Management System (CMS), understand the pedagogy in teaching from works of art, understand the instructional design behind the courses, and how to use all of the online tools. Once trained, accepted teachers will be licensed to access the course(s) at no charge as long as they are able to teach one section (of either course) per semester. Applications are due by April 25. Applicants will be notified by May 16.
