Crafting America Virtual Opening Celebration

Thursday, February 4
6:00 pm CST

This 45-minute virtual opening celebration included an exhibition walk- through with Jen Padgett, associate curator, Crystal Bridges and a curator conversation with Glenn Adamson, guest curator and scholar of craft, design history, and contemporary art.

In celebration of the exhibition, the amazing Crystal Bridges bartenders at Eleven have created a custom craft-inspired cocktail. Watch as Alexander Von Bose walks us through the recipe, make the drink at home ahead of the celebration, and toast to Crafting America with us on February 4!

The Aria

  • 1 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • .5 oz Campari
  • .5 oz aquafaba
  • 1.5 oz gin or vodka
  • 2 grapefruit rounds

Shake all ingredients for eight seconds with one large ice cube and one cracked cube. Strain into a martini or other small glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

The Aria will be available at Eleven for the duration of the exhibition.
