Community Youth Tours

Crystal Bridges’ Community Youth Group Tours provide interactive gallery programs with an option for a hands-on activity for youth participating in community based programs such as after school centers, camps, or clubs. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art offers a variety of tours to engage students of all grade levels and abilities, and connect to classroom practice, and summer themes.

Our Museum Educators can work with your group to develop a program that best suits your needs.

Summer Tour: Art Through the Lens

Dates Offered: June 9-August 12

How does art change when new technologies are invented? This tour explores the history of art and how it has been affected by the invention of practical photography. Kids will interact with different works of art made before, during, and after the rising popularity of photography and will engage with each work by doing a fun, hands-on activity.

Find out more on our School Tours page, alongside our usual tour offerings.

There is no cost  for a one-time Youth Community Tour or Customized Gallery Experience. There may be a small materials fee for In-Depth Museum Experiences or Multi-Visit Programs.
