Join us for an evening of topical discussion and creative writing—all from the comfort of home!
Led by writer and guest instructor Megan Downey, come uncover your emotional biography and learn to tell your own story. Using the feelings wheel and a series of short writing prompts, you’ll learn how to mine your personal history and trace a single, specific emotion across moments of your life. You’ll develop a multi-layered portrait of yourself and your story, capturing how that one emotion shows up throughout varied landscapes, within different versions of ourselves, and in the people around you.
Beginner-friendly, this workshop is open to writers of all experience levels—all you need is something to write with and a love of language and art!
Free, tickets required. Register online or by calling Guest Services at 479.657.2335 to reserve your spot today. Once registered, you’ll receive an email with information about the event and the Zoom link for your convenience.
