Art has always been an integral force in the life of Gerald Hatley.  Through formal education he achieved a Bachelors in Art and a Masters in Art Education.  Gerald taught art at the collegiate level until 1981 when a growing family forced a career change.  He spent the next thirty plus years working away from his dreams.  However, upon retirement in 2018 the pathway to his calling was again open.  Since then, he has exhibited his distinctive watercolor landscapes at local galleries and has become a popular workshop presenter. His work has been recognized at several northwest Arkansas juried exhibits including the Walton Arts Center’s “Our Art, Our Time” 2023. Hatley’s work can currently be seen in the ANA gallery in Rogers and the Wishing Spring gallery in Bella Vista.
