Coming this summer to a museum near you: movies, music, Muppets, and more!
Presented in partnership with the Arkansas Cinema Society, enjoy a “puppet-palooza” of family-friendly fun on Walker Landing as we celebrate the art of puppetry and movie magic pioneered by artists like Jim Henson. Start your night off right with Muppet Movie-inspired show tunes presented by the Northwest Arkansas Jazz Society, create your own cast of characters with puppet-themed artmaking, then catch The Art Experience to explore the art of puppetry right by the water.
Then, once the sun begins to set (around 8:30 p.m.), we’ll settle in for an outdoor screening of The Muppet Movie, featuring a special introduction by Blueberry of Blueberry’s Clubhouse! You’ll get a sneak preview of season 3 of the show, then we’ll kick back and enjoy the classic Muppets adventure of our feature film.
Whether you’re 8 or 80, there’s plenty of outdoor, creative fun to enjoy this summer at Crystal Bridges. See you there!
