Led by poet and mental health counselor Molly Bess Rector, in this free workshop we’ll dive into a guided, workshop designed to help you use poetry, portraits, and structured generative exercises to hone your craft and expand your self-compassion. Beginner-friendly, this workshop is open to writers of all experience levels—all you need is something to write with and a love of language and art!

Molly Bess Rector is a poet living in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she is in private practice as a licensed mental health counselor. The director of Open Mouth Literary Center, Molly earned her MFA in poetry and her MS in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Arkansas. She is the recipient of grants and residencies from the Artists 360 program, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and the Vermont Studio Center, among other honors. Her writing can be found in Ninth Letter, Prairie Schooner, the Orison Anthology, and Best New Poets, or other publications listed at www.mollybessrector.com.
