Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will be closed Monday, May 13, to prepare for the visit of Antiques Roadshow. We will return to normal hours of operation Wednesday, May 15.

Bring out your inner artist in this creative workshop just for teens!

Led by local artist Katie Fitzgerald, we’ll be designing graphic patches that can be sewn onto your favorite upcycled clothes or thrift-store finds. You’ll learn how to turn any art medium into a high-def graphic that can transform your wardrobe (or any fabric) into a wearable piece of art.

No experience with design? No problem. You’ll get step-by-step guidance to help your vision come to life in style. Beginner-friendly, this program is open to all experience levels and includes all necessary supplies. We do ask that you bring an old, light-colored t-shirt with you to recycle into your first project.

Per the CDC’s updated guidelines, we are now requiring all guests ages 2 and up and staff to wear a face covering indoors and while attending outdoor programs, except while eating or drinking. Masks will be available upon entry for those who do not have one. We will observe social distancing during this program.
