Summer Camp | Garden Club with Apple Seeds (Ages 8-12)
Welcome to Garden Club: From Seed to Snack and Back with Apple Seeds Teaching Farm!
This is a weeklong camp where campers will journey with a seed as it makes its way from being planted in nutrient-dense soil, grows into edible plant parts in the garden, gets harvested by curious hands, turned into our next snack, and then finishes its journey at the compost pile.
Campers will unearth the mysteries of life as a plant while also creating and enjoying tasty snacks using plants straight from the garden. We will explore the grounds around Crystal Bridges, conduct science experiments using plants, and have fun with nature-based art activities. Join us for an immersive flora-filled week!
