Join us for an exciting week at our Fashion & Sewing Camp!

This weeklong day camp is perfect for artists ages 8 to 10 heading into 3rd through 5th grade who want to explore the world of fashion and art while learning essential sewing skills. Each day is packed with hands-on activities that will inspire and challenge your creativity.

You’ll personalize clothing with fabrics and embroidery, gain experience in hand-sewing and using a sewing machine, all while creating wearable art inspired by the stunning pieces in our galleries.

About the Instructor: Laurie Apple

Dr. Laurie M. Apple is an Associate Professor in the School of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Arkansas. She teaches in the Apparel Merchandising and Product Development program. Dr. Apple received a B.S. in Clothing and Textiles from The University of Arkansas, a M.S. in Fashion Merchandising from The University of Arkansas, and a Ph.D. in Design, Housing and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University.
