Ever dreamt of stepping into an artist’s studio for a day? Studio Demos give you the chance! Inspired by artworks or special exhibitions, Studio Demos let you meet local artists as they set up in the Studio and demonstrate their process. The best part? It’s a free event that puts you right in the heart of creative action and leaves you inspired! In honor of National Book Lovers Day, this Studio Demo revolves around zines!
The demonstration will pertain to publishing processes, including binding, finishing, and editioning small press publications such as chapbooks and zines. It will refer to the history of DIY art as a community focused liberatory practice.
Free, no tickets required. Drop by anytime from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
