Inspired by our exhibition Knowing the West, come meet a new local artist monthly as they take over the Studio!
Each month, a new artist will be featured in the Studio, engaging with visitors through weekend demonstrations, insightful talks, and drop-in artmaking centered around their unique artistic practice.
For the month of December, artist Rainy Bray-Hopwood of Fifth Street Studio will have a special drop-in engagement that you can come experience in the Studio! Rainy will also host an artist talk on December 7 at 1 p.m. for those who want to meet the artist herself!
Free, no tickets required. Drop by anytime from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

I was born in the heart of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I grew up going to the river on the weekends and spending summer nights catching fireflies till I was covered in chigger bites and ticks.
I pull inspiration from the Ozark wilderness into my art, seeking truth and beauty in the world around me. I primarily work in clay, enjoying the deep history and connection to the earth innate to the medium, but I also venture into the mediums of paint, photography, and quilting. Through my work I want to share the experience of growing up in an area that has breathtaking wilderness and values it deeply.
