Rainy Bray-Hopwood was born in the heart of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She pulls inspiration from the Ozark wilderness into the art, seeking truth and beauty in the world. Through her work she wants to share the experience of growing up in an area that has breathtaking wilderness and values it deeply. Her mission was (and is) to explore my art and pass it on.
Creative Aging programs by Crystal Bridges strive to support creativity, self-expression, and community in older adults. Each program is guided by a professional artist and educator and is designed to help participants learn and apply artmaking skills, engage with artworks in the museum collection, and build connections with each other. Our goal is to provide a space for older adults that welcomes all, promotes physical and mental wellbeing, and helps people age creatively together.
A limited number of need-based scholarships are available for Studio 55+ Weekend Workshop, covering 100% of tuition. Scholarships are awarded through a lottery system and cannot be awarded if the participant has already been registered through the regular registration process.
