Headshot of Dani Ives

Join us in the studios for an exciting weekend workshop where you’ll learn the art of “painting” with wool, creating images inspired by nature and the garden. Led by Dani Ives, this workshop will introduce you to needle felting techniques, which use wool fibers and a felting needle to create intricate designs full of texture and depth. You’ll have the opportunity to craft your own miniature wool painting and take home a stunning, personalized piece of fiber art.

All supplies are included, and no artistic experience is necessary. Need-based scholarships to cover class registration are available.

Tickets are $96 ($80 for members), reserve your spot online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335 today.
Ticket includes all supplies and registration for both class sessions.

Scholarship applications are due Monday, July 22. Applicants receiving scholarships will be notified by Wednesday, July 24.

About the Instructor

Dani Ives is an award-winning artist, author and educator. Her primary art medium is fiber, and she creates highly detailed pieces with wool fibers and needle felting techniques in a process she calls “Painting with Wool.” Dani’s work has been featured by Martha Stewart, Fiber Art Now, The Oprah Magazine, American Craft, Colossal, and more. She also shows her work in galleries and art shows across the U.S. She lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband and her dog, June Bug. When she’s not needle felting, you’ll find her working in her sketchbook, reading, or hiking the forest trails near her home.
