Discover the Art Inside Your Mind during an EEG Gallery Tour!

Step into an extraordinary experience where art and science meet. In this special tour, you’ll wear a comfortable, lightweight EEG headset that safely records your brain’s natural electrical activity in real time.

As you journey through selected artworks, your brainwaves will reveal how you respond to color, shape, and story — offering a rare glimpse into the invisible ways art moves us. Watch your own mind at work as creativity sparks, emotions shift, and connections form.

Guided by Museum educators and medical students from the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, you’ll gain insight into what those patterns mean and how they reflect your personal experience of art.

This is more than a tour — it’s a chance to witness the intimate dialogue between your brain and the art before you, and to leave with a deeper understanding of how creativity lives within us all.

Tickets are $25 ($20 for members), reserve your spot online or with Guest Experience at (479) 657-2335 today.

About the Devices

An EEG (electroencephalogram) is a completely noninvasive, painless device that measures your brain’s natural electrical activity. During this tour, you’ll wear a lightweight headset that requires no special preparation. Your brainwaves will be displayed live on iPads, where trained guides will help you see how your mind responds to art in real time and interpret what you’re seeing.
