About Our Partners
George P. Perez
George P. Perez is a first-generation Mexican American artist from Boulder, Colorado. Drawing from his bilingual upbringing, Pérez explores photography and material-based processes to create patterns, gradients, and visual systems rooted in everyday experiences. His work spans collage, sculpture, and installation, often reconstructing neglected photographs to explore memory, language, and meaning. Pérez received his BFA from the University of Colorado (2014) and his MFA as a Gilbert Fellow at Cranbrook Academy of Art (2023). He has been an Artist-in-Residence at RedLine Contemporary Art Center and the Children’s Museum of Denver, and was awarded the MCA Denver Octopus Initiative Grant in 2018. Pérez currently teaches at the School of the Art Institute and works as a Photo-Facilitator with Working Assumptions in Berkeley, CA. He is also a member of M12, an award-winning artist collective focused on rural aesthetics and landscape.

LatinX Theatre Project
LatinX Theatre Project (LXTP) is a multidisciplinary ensemble in Northwest Arkansas that uses performance as a tool for social change. Now in its seventh year, LXTP began as a group of young artists coming together to share writing and performance in a space where they felt seen and heard. Today, the company creates original, collaborative works that uplift underrepresented voices and provide a safe, inclusive platform for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled artists at all stages of their creative journey.
