Second Saturday: Black History Month

Celebrate Black History Month with us at our Second Saturday program!

In collaboration with NWA Black Heritage, we’re offering a day of creativity and learning.

Begin by making a Scratch Board Portrait inspired by Elizabeth Catlett’s Sharecropper in the studios. Then, head through our recently opened Visions of America galleries to check out our We the People by Nari Ward Art Cart! Spend some time with AnReckez Daniels and Naudia Walton from the University of Arkansas Multicultural Center during a gallery talk at 1 PM and learn about the work that they are doing in the community!
