Second Saturday: Art & Nature

Head over to Crystal Bridges for Second Saturday, a fun-filled day dedicated to uplifting our cultural and artistic pillars!

This month, we’re inviting you to explore the natural world with in-gallery activities for all ages. Kick off your afternoon in the galleries with a hands-on Art Cart activation at 1:00 pm inspired by the dazzling Mountain Landscape (Root Memorial Window) Tiffany window and stick around to hear more about the history of the piece during our Gallery Talk.

Afterward, head to the classrooms to express your creativity with a drop-in art-making project inspired by Vik Muniz’ striking White Brazilian Orchid after Martin Johnson Heade. Spend some time in our studios chatting with nature experts and learn more about the ecosystems here in the Natural State. Bring your family and friends for a day filled with creativity, learning, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors.
