Join us at Crystal Bridges for a transformative teacher professional development centered on the special exhibition Knowing the West. Explore this groundbreaking exhibition showcasing 100+ artworks from 1785 to 1922 by Native American and non-Native American artists. Led by museum educators, this immersive and personalized experience offers insights on incorporating Native American art into cross-curricular lesson plans, from social studies to art, while also engaging in hands-on artmaking activities relevant to the exhibition content. All teachers and grades welcome, with three hours of professional development credit.
