About the Instructor
Rachel Grace Borntrager (she/her) is an abstract expressionist and portrait painter whose work is inspired by somatic therapy and the emotional complexity of human relationships. Rachel has over 6 years experience in professional studio art, and is the creator of Soma-Line™️, a therapeutic painting method that maps the body’s emotional and physiological responses and breath through intuitive linework and layered washes. In both her studio practice and her workshops, Rachel’s goal is to use art as a pathway to wholeness. Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she collaborates with therapists, nonprofits, churches, interior designers, businesses, educators, and healthcare establishments to share her practice, helping people of all ages reconnect with themselves and others through creative expression.
