Learn how to transform everyday objects into meaningful reflection!

Objects and stories are woven together in every aspect of our lives. If we can learn to pause, recognize, and reflect on the many objects and stories that surround us, we can discover abundant opportunities for our students and ourselves to explore the world and consider our place within it.

In this on-site, Saturday workshop led by Dr. Paul Bolin, we’ll use encounters with artworks and a variety of responsive poetic and narrative writing activities to investigate how objects of any kind can become sources for meaningful written reflection and story generation. Perfect for educators, writers, and anyone wanting to engage the world around them more closely, this is not a workshop to miss.
