Opening: Brick Fields
Hailing from small town McComb, Mississippi, Mr. Sipp has become a Delta Blues force to be reckoned with! Being recognized for his amazing vocals, songwriting ability, and entertaining fans with an upbeat, outlandish show all make Mr. Sipp “The Total Package.” With over 125 recording credits to his name, Mr. Sipp has played on over 50 national recordings with several Grammy-nominated projects. Don’t miss his performance at the Forest Concert Series.
Opener: Brick Fields
Brick Fields music is much more than blues. Their sound has been called “a cleansing of the soul” by Nashville’s Blues Society. They’ve also won folk, songwriting, and regional music awards. Brick Fields represented Northwest Arkansas at the International Blues Competition in Memphis where they outperformed 260 artists to the semi-finals. Some may say this puts them in the top 40 of the best blues bands in the world! Working more than 225 regional shows a year and five official album releases, Brick Fields has been called “a treasure” and “NWA’s hardest working musical group,” by KUAF’s radio program Ozarks At Large.
