In celebration of Women’s History Month, join us to hear more about one of the most popular women in our collection! This gallery talk will be presented by archivist Kariah Burst and museum educator Olivia Gutierrez. You will learn about Georgia O’Keefe’s painting Jimson Weed, and get behind-the-scenes insights into the artist through the museum’s archive.

About the Speakers

Olivia Gutierrez is the museum educator of Adult Public Programs at Crystal Bridges and is in charge of in gallery programs. She holds a Master of Art in Art History in which she focused on the Visual Cultures of the Americas.

Kariah Burst is the archivist at Crystal Bridges and is in charge of archival processing, preservation, digitization, and access. She holds a Master of Library and Information Sciences with an archival certificate and has worked at the museum for 4 1/2 years.
