Please join museum educator Matthew Gibbon to celebrate Crystal Bridge’s 13th birthday. Gibbon will be discussing the painting Kindred Spirits by Asher B Durand and its significance to the beginning of Crystal Bridges. This talk is open to the public.

Matthew Gibbon is an enthusiastic museum educator working with school programs at Crystal Bridges and The Momentary. With a strong passion for connecting people to art, Matthew has inspired visitors of all ages through engaging gallery talks and educational programs. His background in sales, hospitality, and education brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to the museum experience. Matthew’s approach emphasizes interactive learning and fosters a deeper appreciation for the exhibits. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys bicycling, exercising, and practicing mindfulness.
