Save the Date: Looking for more literary-art connections? Join Rachel Slaton and Blake Worthey for another Gallery Conversation on October 14, where they’ll lead us in looking at connections to literature in the Contemporary Art Gallery.
Rachel Stuckey Slaton is the co-owner of Two Friends Books. A born-again Arkansan and University of Arkansas alum, she moved to Bentonville after working in media and politics in New York City and Washington DC. When she’s not in the bookstore or reading, you can often find her riding a cargo bike downtown with two little kids, discussing the merits of genre fiction, or procrastinating on gardening tasks.
Morgan Johnson is a graduate of Southern Arkansas University and lives in Arkansas. She mostly reads contemporary fiction, horror, romance, and poetry. The poems she writes are about you, yes, you specifically. Her work is forthcoming in Good Printed Things, and appears on Archive of Our Own.
