About the Speaker

Paramita Sarkar is a passionate Museum Educator with over a decade of experience in the realm of teaching. Graduating with a master’s degree in Zoology and in Education from the University of Calcutta in India, Paramita’s journey has been characterized by her unwavering commitment to expanding minds and cultivating a love for arts and culture in people of all ages. Outside of her professional life, Paramita volunteers for local Indian organizations and is trained in Bollywood and Indian Classical dance form (Bharatanatyam). With her wide-ranging knowledge, enthusiasm, and welcoming persona, Paramita is sure to captivate and inspire you in the upcoming gallery talk. Paramita looks forward to sharing her love of art with you and creating a memorable museum experience together.
