Join us in the Modern Art Gallery for a presentation on Martin Johnson Heade’s Gems of Brazil (ca. 1863–1864), led by Professor Robert Wiedenmann of the University of Arkansas. We’ll get an ecologist’s unique perspective on these stunning naturalist paintings and examine the collection in a new, fascinating light.

Free, no tickets required. 

Per the CDC’s updated guidelines, we are now requiring all guests ages 2 and up and staff to wear a face covering indoors and while attending outdoor programs, except while eating or drinking. Masks will be available upon entry for those who do not have one.
